The Department of Music was founded in 2003 to train talents who will lead the musical arts in the twenty-first century. The department offers majors in voice, piano, orchestra, and composition, with a variety of courses designed to educate professional musicians knowledgeable in both practice and theory. With a world-class faculty, large investments, and high-quality educational environment, the department aims to help the students become leaders of global music only with training in Korea. The curriculum combines Korean college-level musical education that emphasizes theory with European system focusing on practice, to help the students develop their talents under the best educational environment.
