The 1900s
  • January 1941
    Opening of 'Inje Paik Surgical Hospital' by Dr. Inje Paik, Head Professor of Surgery Department at Gyeongseong Medical College
  • December 1946
    Establishment of Paik Hospital, the first private non-profit incorporated foundation in Korea
  • March 1972
    Opening of Inje University Seoul Paik Hospital
  • January 1979
    Official approval of the Inje College educational foundation by the Ministry of Education (Founder: Nakjo Paik)
  • June 1979
    Busan Paik Hospital was opened.
  • September 1983
    Changing the college name to Inje University and relocation to Gimhae Campus
  • October 1988
    Status promotion to Inje University as a comprehensive university
  • March 1989
    Inauguration of Dr. Nakwhan Paik as the 1st president
  • August 1989
    Opening of Inje University Sanggye Paik Hospital
  • December 1999
    Opening of Inje University Ilsan Paik Hospital
