Inje University Holds 41st Commencement Ceremony, Producing 1,681 Glocal Talents

February 17, 2025101

On the 14th, Inje University held its 41st Commencement Ceremony at the Jang Yeong-sil Hall Auditorium on its Gimhae campus. A total of 1,681 graduates—including 36 doctoral, 143 master’s, and 1,502 bachelor’s degree recipients—embarked on their new journey into society.

The ceremony was attended by President Jeon Min hyon, distinguished guests, graduates, and their families, all gathering to celebrate this momentous occasion.

The event proceeded with an opening ceremony, national anthem, academic report, presidential address, congratulatory speeches, degree conferral and awards presentation, a graduate representative speech, and the university anthem. Graduates who demonstrated outstanding academic achievements and contributions to the university’s development were honored with the Chairman’s Award, the President’s Award, and the Inje Academic Excellence Award.

Alongside the commencement ceremony, various interactive events were held across campus for graduates and their families to enjoy.

In front of the Main Building, Inje University collaborated with Happy Mystery, a cultural content startup from the Busan-Gyeongnam region, to launch the “Future Inje Superhero” campaign, the first-ever university-led social awareness initiative. The campaign incorporated game elements, allowing participants to experience the positive impact of giving in an engaging way.

Inside the Main Auditorium on the second floor, a free photo event titled "#Capture Your Graduation" was held for graduates and their families. Professional photographers captured special moments, and the photos were printed and framed on-site as commemorative gifts.

Since being designated a Glocal University by the Ministry of Education last year, Inje University has strengthened its competitiveness with KRW 230 billion in secured funding over five years and continues to drive major innovations through the All-City Campus initiative.

The graduates of this year’s commencement ceremony are expected to serve as Glocal talents, bridging local and global communities while bringing Inje University’s vision to life.
