On the morning of the 13th, Inje University hosted a plaque unveiling ceremony at its Glocal University Hub Campus, marking the official launch of a key educational and communication space designed for collaboration between the university and the local community.

The event signified the formal establishment of the Hub Campus, a central pillar of the Glocal University initiative, and emphasized the creation of a shared space for education, communication, and collaboration between the university and the region.

The Hub Campus is designed as an open space that integrates education, research, and administration, allowing both the university and the local community to benefit. The facility includes seminar rooms for lectures and meetings, office spaces for the Gimhae Talent Cultivation Foundation and Dai-eum Center, as well as exhibition and relaxation areas. Notably, it features open-access support facilities and public engagement spaces, enabling community members to utilize university resources.

Starting this year, the Hub Campus will host a variety of educational programs and workshops, with over 900 expected participants. More than 30 courses are planned, fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening cooperation between the university and the local community.

President Jeon Min-hyon stated, “The Hub Campus is not just an educational facility but a shared space where the university and the community can thrive together. We will continue to collaborate with the region to drive meaningful and transformative change.”

Since being designated as a Glocal University, Inje University has been advancing various educational and research initiatives in partnership with the local community. Moving forward, the university aims to further strengthen regional ties through the Hub Campus, while simultaneously driving education, research, and regional development as part of its All-City Campus transformation model.
