Mass media in the age of globalization and informatization is playing an important role in social, cultural, political, and economic areas more so than in any other time. The Department of Mass Communication covers all phenomena related to human communication behaviors including mass communication media such as newspapers, TV broadcasting, advertising, and publishing. The students learn theories as well as practical skills required to work in these fields. The goal of the department is to train capable professionals who can use their abilities in fields including newspapers, TV broadcasting, advertising, public relations, magazines, and publishing.
